I was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. After spending seven years working for an electronics corporation, my husband and I moved to his hometown of Danville, PA. We have two boys. 

I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University. I then went on to complete my Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University and the PA Gifted Endorsement through Millersville University. In my position as Engineering/STEM Teacher, I facilitate the engineering courses offered through the high school career and technical education program. As Teacher of the Gifted, I work with our Kindergarten through twelfth-grade students who are identified as mentally gifted.
